Abrar Ul Haq started their work experience in 2000 as the Chairman of SAHARA for Life Trust. In 2003, they became the Chairman of SAHARA for Life Trust. In 2006, they started working as the Chairman of the Youth Parliament of Pakistan. In 2011, they joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf as the Secretary of Foreign Affairs.

Abrar Ul Haq attended Junior Model School Gujrat during an unspecified time period. After completing their education there, they went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree from Sir Syed College Rawalpindi. Following this, Abrar Ul Haq pursued a Master's Degree in Law from Qaid E Azam University Islmabad. Additionally, they completed their high school education at Sunrise Cambridge School.

Sahara For Life Trust is a not for profit, registered tax exempted charity, dedicated to provide quality healthcare, education and social services that are accessible and cost effective to the people residing in remote areas. The primary goal of Sahara For Life Trust is to serve the community. It is run on the concept of equality and social responsibility, implemented through a cross subsidization model. The income generated by the donations is used to cover the cost of treatment of the less privileged members of the community.
