Cara DeFord began their work experience in 2014 as a Marketing & Registration Coordinator at Cowtown Marathon, Inc. Cara held this position until November 2017. From December 2016 to April 2018, they worked as an Event Manager at Brik Venue. Starting in April 2018, Cara joined the Society of Petroleum Engineers International and served as a Marketing Specialist, Events until December 2019. Cara then transitioned to the role of Marketing Supervisor, Events, which they held until March 2022.
