Ted Grubb

Ted Grubb is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in leading engineering teams and developing innovative solutions. Currently, Ted serves as a Principal Software Engineer and Lead Frontend Engineer at Saildrone Inc since September 2016. Previously, Ted held the position of Director of Engineering at OpenTable, where leadership was provided in the redesign and rearchitecture of OpenTable Gifts following the acquisition of a personal company in 2013. As Co-founder and CTO of Foodspotting, Ted contributed to creating a visual guide for finding dishes, enhancing user engagement through shared food experiences. Earlier roles include founding Front End Engineer and UI Designer at Get Satisfaction and Front End Engineer at Rubyred Labs, along with experience as a Technical Developer at Digital Wave Technologies. Ted's career began as an intern, demonstrating a strong commitment to professional growth and development in the tech industry.
