Laurence Garnett possesses extensive experience in business transformation and supply chain management, currently serving as the Director of Business Transformation at Sainsbury's since May 2020. Laurence has held various leadership positions within Sainsbury's and Sainsbury's Argos, including Director of Supply Chain & Logistics Strategy & Change, and Head of Fulfilment, where responsibilities included designing and implementing world-class fulfilment strategies and driving significant improvements in customer service and operational efficiency. Prior to Sainsbury's, Laurence held key roles at Home Retail Group PLC and Tesco, focusing on distribution network development and logistics management. Laurence's career in logistics began at Boots, where multiple roles involved overseeing large teams and managing significant budgets. Laurence earned a 2:1 degree in Chemistry and Management from the University of Nottingham and achieved top grades in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry at South Hunsley.
