Mahendra Pisal has a solid work experience in the media industry. Mahendra started their career in 1994 as a Deputy General Manager at Multiflex lamiprint ltd, where they held a managerial position for seven years. In 2002, they joined Sakal Media Group, where they took on various roles including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Operating Officer - Sakal Media Private Limited. During this time, they were responsible for overseeing the company's operations and managing different units and branches in Maharashtra and Goa. Mahendra also had extensive experience in human resource management, legal matters, administration, government liaison, and handling internal and external unions. Pisal's work at Sakal Media Group lasted until December 2021.
From 1987 to 1989, Mahendra Pisal attended Shri Shivaji Preparatory Military School. During this time, they pursued a degree in MBA with a focus on Marketing & HR.

The group also has a unit for commercial printing and consults with various interested parties on conceptualising and implementing projects in the social work domain.
