Founded in 1970 as Skip-a-Long Daycare, SAL has grown from a single child care facility that serviced a few children to a large, complex agency serving 17 counties in two states. SAL is at the forefront of public policy and issues regarding early care and education and individual and family social services and is dedicated to making sure all families have what they need to be successful, regardless of financial means.
