Dr. Irum Saba is the founder of the Women Leadership Forum (WLF) and currently serves as an Associate Editor for the European Journal of Islamic Finance, as well as a Shariah Board Member at Salaam Takaful Limited. Dr. Saba holds the position of Associate Professor and Program Director for MS Islamic Banking and Finance at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) in Karachi, where tenure includes coordination of research and academics. Additional roles include membership on the Editorial Advisory Board of the International Journal of Islamic and Middle Eastern Finance and Management, service on the iPORTAL Supervisory Board, and acting as a Non-Executive Director at Habib Metropolitan Modaraba Management Company. Dr. Saba has also contributed as a Sub-Editor and Secretary for the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) and as a Shari’ah Advisory Board Member for SALIHIN. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Islamic Finance from INCEIF University, Shariah Registered Financial Planner credentials from the Malaysian Financial Planning Council, and multiple diplomas and degrees in Islamic finance and banking.
