Emin Eliot Gerba

Emin Eliot Gerba is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in engineering leadership, currently serving as Executive Vice President of Platform Engineering at Salesforce since August 2004. In this role, Emin leads the Platform Engineering organization, overseeing foundational services and experiences that support Salesforce cloud applications. Previously, Emin held several senior leadership positions within Salesforce, including Senior Vice President of Platform Engineering and Software Engineering, where responsibilities included managing engineering functions for key products such as Customer 360 Data Manager and Platform Services. Emin's earlier career includes technical consulting at International SoftDevices Corporation, and software engineering at Ericsson, with a strong foundation in electrical engineering from Chalmers University of Technology.
