Nicholas Dotson

Nicholas Dotson, PhD, currently serves as a Project Scientist at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies since March 2021. Prior to this role, Nicholas held the position of Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley from October 2017 to February 2021 and worked as a Visiting Postdoc at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-organization for a brief period in 2017. Nicholas’s extensive experience also includes a significant tenure at Montana State University-Bozeman, where involvement spanned from 2008 to 2017 as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Gray Lab, Guest Instructor at the Gianforte School of Computing, Graduate Student, and Research Associate. Nicholas obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neuroscience from Montana State University-Bozeman between 2009 and 2014 and completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Cell Biology and Neuroscience at the same institution from 2003 to 2008.
