Rick Castellano

Rick Castellano has a diverse work experience in corporate communications, public affairs, and government relations. Rick worked as Vice President of Corporate Communications at Sallie Mae from 2014 onwards. Prior to that, Rick held various roles at Apollo Group, including Associate Vice President of State Government Affairs and Director of Public Affairs. Rick also worked at Sallie Mae from 2004 to 2010, where they served as Director of Public Affairs and Corporate Communications Manager/Representative. Rick began their career as a Staff Assistant and later Deputy Press Secretary for U.S. Senator Charles E. Schumer from 2001 to 2004.

Rick Castellano attended James Madison University from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.
