ROLE OVERVIEW

Salt XC is looking for an Intermediate Developer with expertise in React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and hands-on experience across backend tools, databases, and cloud platforms.As part of the digital team, you will be instrumental in building high-quality, performant web applications that seamlessly connect frontend interfaces with backend systems and third-party APIs. THE OPPORTUNITY

As an Intermediate Developer, you will contribute to developing cutting-edge digital experiences by building efficient web applications with modern technologies. You will integrate RESTful APIs, develop modern and animated interfaces, and work with multiple databases and platforms to ensure data flows smoothly between systems. Your ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and platforms will be crucial in delivering outstanding results.This role offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your skill set, work on impactful projects, and collaborate with a talented, passionate team of designers, developers, account managers, and project managers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications using React and Next.js.
• Build and style modern interfaces with Tailwind CSS, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Integrate RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between frontend and backend services.
• Manage relational databases using PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Supabase to support application needs.
• Deploy, optimize, and monitor applications on Vercel and AWS platforms for scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, strategists, and backend developers, to build user-centric solutions.
• Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and ensure best practices in SEO, security, and accessibility.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and frameworks, quickly adapting to new tools and platforms.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years of experience developing applications with React and Next.js.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and Tailwind CSS.
• Proven experience integrating RESTful APIs to enable communication between frontend and backend systems.
• Hands-on experience managing data with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Supabase.
• Familiarity with Vercel and AWS for deployment and scaling.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a quick learner of new tools, platforms, and frameworks.
• Experience with Git-based workflows and version control.
• Familiarity with Builder.io, Webflow, or Contentful is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
