Esben Klinkby is an experienced professional in the field of neutronics and high energy physics, currently serving as Vice President of R&D Partnering at Seaborg Technologies since March 2014. Various roles at Seaborg include Head of Engineering, Head of Analysis, Neutronics Team Lead, and Neutronics Scientist, focusing on the development of Molten Salt Reactors. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Scientist at DTU Nutech, where work involved Monte Carlo simulations for the European Spallation Source and neutronics calculations for the ITER fusion reactor project. Previous positions include Research Scientist at the European Spallation Source & DTU Nutech, Postdoctoral roles at the Niels Bohr Institute and Duke University, and a Ph.D. from the University of Copenhagen, where research centered on high energy physics and the ATLAS experiment at the LHC. Educational background includes a Master's degree from the University of Copenhagen and a summer internship at Risø National Laboratory for Sustainable Energy.
