Hannes Prinsloo

Hannes Prinsloo serves as the Head of SHEQ at Samancor Chrome since November 2023, bringing a wealth of experience from prior roles, including Head of Safety and Mine Manager at Implats from July 2019 to November 2023. Hannes previously held the position of Production Manager at Royal Bafokeng Platinum from June 2014 to June 2019 and worked at Murray and Roberts as Mine Overseer, Technical Assistant, and Relieving Project Manager from March 2012 to June 2014. Earlier in Hannes's career, positions included Mine Overseer, Shift Supervisor, and Graduate Mining Engineer at Anglo Platinum from November 2008 to March 2012. Hannes holds a Master of Business Administration from GIBS Business School and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the University of Pretoria.
