Joanie Nel

Joanie Nel, CMOP, currently serves as an Executive Assistant at Samancor Chrome, a position held since December 2007. Prior to this role, Joanie held the position of Assistant to the President in the Rest of Africa Division at Liberty Life for a brief period in 2007 and served as Executive Assistant to the President and CEO at Samancor Manganese (BHPBILLITON) from 2006 to 2007. Educational qualifications include a Microsoft Office Specialist (Expert) certification from The Red Cape Company (July 2024 - June 2025), a Diploma in Secretarial Practice from HPWS/Hawthorne University (1999 - 2000), a Diploma in Secretarial & Computer from Elken Private College (1995), and ongoing studies towards a Bachelor’s in HR Management at the University of Johannesburg since May 2021.
