Kwang Cheak Tan

Kwang Cheak Tan currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Singapore Cancer Society since October 2024, having previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer Designate. Tan is also recognized as an IHRP Certified Master Professional at the Institute for Human Resource Professionals (IHRP) since August 2017. Additional roles include Senior Accredited Director at the Singapore Institute of Directors, Expert at the Chandler Institute of Governance, and Fellow at QED. In governance, Tan is active as Vice Chairman and Board Member for the Samaritans of Singapore Limited, a Board Member for APSN, Jurong Health Fund, and HCA Hospice, and holds a position on the Advisory Panel of RySense. Tan's educational background includes a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University, a Senior Executive Programme from London Business School, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering along with a Master of Science in Telecommunications from UCL.
