Chen-Yo Sun

Chen-Yo Sun is currently a Software Engineer at SambaNova Systems, starting February 2024. Previously, Chen-Yo held a Software Engineering Intern position at Amazon from May to August 2023, where an internal tool for annotating ML-based product recommendations was developed using ReactJS and AWS. Chen-Yo also completed a Software Engineering Internship at AICS from February 2021 to February 2022, contributing to backend development with Azure, Python, Redis, and PostgreSQL, and implementing a MLOps system with CI/CD features. As a Research Assistant at NYCU Network and System Lab from February 2020 to February 2021, Chen-Yo led a team to create a network scheduling system that improved flow sharing significantly. Additionally, Chen-Yo was the Team Leader at the Microsoft X TSMC Hackathon, successfully launching an AI Chatbot for a museum. Chen-Yo holds a Master's degree in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from National Chiao Tung University.
