Gary Chung

Gary Chung currently serves as the VP of Finance at SambaNova Systems, a position held since June 2025. Prior to this role, Gary gained substantial experience at AliveCor, progressing from Senior Director of Finance to Director of Finance and Senior Manager of FP&A between June 2019 and June 2025. Earlier career experiences include serving as Finance Manager at Aerohive Networks from January 2018 to June 2019, and various financial analyst roles at Coherent Inc. from May 2014 to December 2017, as well as at Switch Lighting from April 2012 to March 2014. Gary holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Master of Business Administration from San José State University.
