Håkan Zeffer

Håkan Zeffer is a seasoned expert in hardware engineering and simulation, currently serving as Senior Director of Hardware Engineering at SambaNova Systems since January 2022. Previously, Håkan held the role of Senior Simulation Architect at Intel Corporation, where leadership was provided for the cycle approximate effort in the Simics simulator. Håkan co-founded Zoomulation Technologies AB, acting as CEO and CTO, and developed ZoomSim, a high-performance full-system simulator. With extensive experience at Intel Corporation in various managerial roles, including Engineering Manager and Director, Håkan contributed significantly to the Simics CPU and its integration technologies. Additional achievements include roles at Wind River, Xelerated, and Sun Microsystems, where contributions to high-end processors and simulation technologies were made. Håkan holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Uppsala University and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
