Mark Monsma currently serves as Directeur at Samenwerkende GezondheidsFondsen (SGF) since February 2019, following a tenure as General Manager at the Dutch alliance for a smoke-free society from February 2014 to January 2019. Prior experience includes roles at NOC*NSF, where Mark held the positions of Manager Strategic Alliances and Secretary of the Anti-Doping Commission from December 2012 to January 2014, and Program Manager Public Affairs from May 2003 to July 2009, focusing on lobbying for Dutch Sports Unions on national and European levels. Additionally, Mark was a Process Manager and member of the Management Team at Olympisch Vuur from August 2009 to December 2012, and prior to that, served as Head of Policy at Vereniging Sport en Gemeenten and Policy Officer at VNG. Mark holds a Master's degree in European Public Administration and Public Policy from the University of Twente, completed between 1990 and 1997.

Langer gezond leven voor iedereen in Nederland. Dát is de missie van het collectief van 22 samenwerkende gezondheidsfondsen. Deze gezondheidsfondsen werken aan het voorkomen, genezen en behandelen van ziekten. Samen zetten zij zich in voor ziekteoverstijgende onderwerpen zoals preventie, patiëntenparticipatie, immunologisch onderzoek en proefdiervrije innovaties. Het bureau van dit collectief (SGF) draagt namens het collectief als agendasetter bij aan een samenleving waarin mensen gezonder leven, de best mogelijke behandeling krijgen en optimaal participeren.
