Richard Huybers

Richard Huybers has over six years of work experience in software engineering. From 2019 to 2022 they worked as a Software Engineer at Siemens Digital Industries Software, where they wrote code for the internal representation of detailed road networks, the automatic generation of traffic through co-simulation with different traffic simulators, and the simulation of vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication. Richard mostly worked on the back end (in C++11), but also did some work on the front end (in C#) from time to time. From 2015 to 2019 they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Leiden University. Currently, they are employed as a Software Engineer at Samotics.

Richard Huybers completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Leiden University in 2016, followed by a Master of Science in Computer Science from the same university in 2018.
