Karen Maria Nicolas is currently working at Sampled as a Manager in Sequencing & qPCR Genotyping Services. Prior to this, Karen Maria held positions at GENEWIZ as an Associate Scientist and at Rutgers University as a Research Assistant. At Rutgers University, Karen also served as a Scholar & Ambassador of the Rutgers Future Scholars program, a Summer RiSE Scholar, and a Physics Lab Assistant. Karen Maria holds a Bachelor of Science in Evolutionary Anthropology and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology. Karen's experience includes conducting experiments, creating demos to explain physics fundamentals, and working on research related to experimental evolution of Pseudomonas Bacteriophage Phi6.
