Hyunyong Kim, PhD, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the insurance and economic research sectors. Currently serving as Chief Representative Officer in the U.S. for Samsung Life Insurance since January 2008, Hyunyong Kim oversees research on marketing, investments, and business strategies while strengthening networks within the financial market. Previous roles include General Manager, focusing on strategic HR planning and project management, and Senior Manager, developing HRD strategies and leadership education programs. Prior experience includes a managerial position at Samsung Economic Research Institute, where research on financial markets and strategic initiatives was executed, and an associate role at Samsung Life Insurance. Hyunyong Kim’s educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in International Business from Kyung Hee University, an MBA from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, an ongoing Executive MBA from the University of Washington, and another MBA from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in German Language and Literature from Yonsei University.
