Bertram Holder completed their secondary education in the field of Maschinenbau from HTL Klagenfurt, where they obtained their Matura degree in 1981. Following that, they attended the Technische Universität Graz from 1981 to 1993, where they pursued a degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen Maschinenbau. In 1993, they successfully completed their degree from Technische Universität Graz. Bertram also obtained a certification called "TU Abschluss" from TU Graz, although the specific month and year of completion are unknown.
