Founded in 1986, our mission at the San Antonio AIDS Foundation (SAAF, /sāf/) is to prevent the spread of HIV and provide comprehensive services to individuals affected with HIV/AIDS.

Our services include prevention education services, free HIV and syphilis testing, in-house special care facility, behavioral health counseling, medical and social case management, a transitional housing program (the first in San Antonio to offer such housing to transgender individuals), a 365-day-a-year hot meals program for HIV-positive people in the San Antonio area, oral health care referrals and more.
