Edward Guzman

Edward Guzman has extensive experience in legal and regulatory roles, currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Chief Legal and Ethics Officer at San Antonio Water System since August 2020, after holding positions as Vice President for Environmental Law & Regulatory Compliance and Senior Corporate Counsel. Prior to this, Guzman worked for the City of San Antonio for 13 years, where responsibilities included serving as Deputy City Attorney, Acting First Assistant City Attorney, and overseeing various special projects related to ethics and legal support for multiple city departments. Guzman's earlier career included partnership at Jensen & Guzman, engagement as Claim Litigation Counsel at Frank Rivas and Associates, and serving as an Assistant District Attorney at the Bexar County District Attorney's Office. Guzman earned a JD from The University of Texas School of Law and a BA in Political Science from St. Mary's University.
