San Diego Coastkeeper
Marie Diaz is currently the Marine Programs Manager at San Diego Coastkeeper since February 2019. Previously, Marie worked as a Research Assistant at Scripps Institution of Oceanography from September 2017 to September 2020 and held the role of Invasive Species Specialist at Reef Environmental Education Foundation from June 2016 to September 2017. Marie holds a Master of Science degree in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from UC San Diego, obtained from 2019 to 2021, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in the same field from UC San Diego, earned from 2012 to 2016. Marie completed their high school education at Bishop O'Dowd High School from 2008 to 2012.
