Jamie Padilla

Jamie Padilla, P.E., currently serves as the Operations & Engineering Manager at San Diego Gas & Electric since August 2016, overseeing engineering teams focused on customer reliability and compliance in electric operations. With a background that includes roles as Team Lead and Engineer I, Jamie has led numerous projects, including substation expansions and transmission line upgrades, and managed operations during system emergencies. Jamie's engineering journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at San Diego State University. Prior internship experiences with San Diego Gas & Electric and Eaton further enriched Jamie's expertise in power systems engineering.
