Llewellyn Crain currently serves as the Chief Philanthropy Officer for San Diego Opera, leading all fundraising efforts for the organization. Previous experience includes the role of Director of Philanthropy at The Old Globe, where an annual fundraising achievement of over $10.5 million was recorded. As the Director of Development for Kansas City Symphony, Llewellyn directed fundraising strategies for the region's largest performing arts organization. The position of Executive Director at Kansas Arts Commission involved advocacy leadership to preserve the agency's funding and operations. Earlier roles also include Assistant Director of Development at Kansas State University Foundation and Director of Educational Initiatives at Los Angeles Philharmonic, where extensive educational programs were developed. Llewellyn's education includes advanced degrees in Arts Administration and Dance from UCLA and California State University-Dominguez Hills, among others.
