Fred Benedetti is an established music industry professional with experience as a guitarist since 1974. Currently serving as an Emeritus Professor of Music at Grossmont College since August 1985, Benedetti teaches various courses including Music Theory, Guitar Ensemble, Classical Guitar, and Class Guitar, along with private lessons. Additionally, Benedetti has been a Studio Artist at San Diego State University since January 1990, providing music coaching for undergraduate and graduate classical guitar majors. Benedetti holds a Master of Music Degree in Music Performance from San Diego State University, attended a Master Class with Andres Segovia at the University of Southern California in 1986, and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music from San Diego State University.
