David Dial has a diverse work experience spanning over several organizations. Currently, they serve as the Director of Facilities and Operations at the SFMOMA San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Prior to this, David maintained a consulting practice at Dial & Associates since 1995, where they supported creative efforts through operational planning, program development, technology integration, and project management. David has also held the role of Project Manager at Orton Development for the Calvin Simmons Theatre. Other notable positions include Regional Executive Officer and National Program Director at Playworks, Executive Director at Livermore Valley Performing Arts Center, VP of Operations at the Computer HIstory Museum, and Interim Executive Director at Alonzo King LINES Ballet, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, and Zeum: San Francisco's Children's Museum. David's extensive experience showcases their expertise in facility management, project planning, and arts administration.

David Dial attended UC Santa Barbara from 1978 to 1983, where they received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Aquatic Biology/Limnology.
