Marcy Nakasuka

Marcy Nakasuka is an experienced finance and accounting professional currently serving as a Finance Accounting Consultant at SFMOMA San Francisco Museum of Modern Art since July 2018. Prior to this role, Nakasuka worked as an Associate Accountant at Accounting Principals and held several positions in accounting and technical support, including Group Accountant at The Education Group and Tax Accountant at Granville Accounting Services. A significant period was spent on sabbatical from January 2015 to December 2017, during which Nakasuka prepared for and successfully passed all four CPA exams, enhanced knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and completed a QuickBooks course. Earlier career highlights include roles at Cisco, where Nakasuka provided technical support as a High Touch Engineer, as well as a Network Engineer at Claro Brasil. Nakasuka holds a Master of Accounting from Macquarie University and a Bachelor's degree in Computing Science from Universidade Estadual de Campinas.
