Idil Bereket

Idil Bereket is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in public relations and community outreach. Currently serving as Communications Manager at the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission since July 2005, Idil has held various roles including Public Relations Officer, where responsibilities involved handling media inquiries and leading community meetings focused on flood resilience. Prior to this, Idil worked at ENLASO as a Project Manager, managing key accounts in translation and localization services, and at RWS Group, LLC, where Idil was Manager of Corporate Accounts. Earlier experience includes serving as Account Executive at IMAGE Public Relations, managing public relations activities for notable international clients. Idil holds a Master’s degree in Public Relations from Golden Gate University and a Bachelor’s degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from Boğaziçi University.
