Amanda Otte is an experienced educator and program coordinator currently serving as the College and Career Pathways Coordinator for the San Jose Public Library since July 2020, where collaboration with city staff and community partners is emphasized to enhance education and career development for youth and adults. Prior roles include managing digital equity initiatives and expanding learning opportunities as a Literacy Program Specialist with the San Jose Public Library, as well as research and evaluation efforts at the California Collaborative for Educational Excellence. Previous experience also includes early childhood education and curriculum development as an Early Childhood Content Specialist at WestEd, and foundational teaching roles at Rocketship Public Schools and Teach For America. Amanda holds a Master of Arts in Politics and Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Stanford University.
