Sarah Kishler possesses extensive experience in library services, currently serving as a Librarian at the East San Jose Carnegie Branch of the San Jose Public Library since August 2010. Sarah has held multiple interim positions as Senior Librarian/Branch Manager across several branches and contributes as an on-call librarian for the 23-branch system, overseeing circulation and reference desk duties. In addition, Sarah volunteered as a Technology Tutor at the Alviso Branch, mentoring patrons and managing social media accounts. Prior roles include Librarian II at Alameda County Library and a librarian assignment at Microsoft Silicon Valley through LAC Group. Sarah also has a background in communications with the Silicon Valley Association of Realtors and content writing at Cellmania. Educational credentials include an MLIS from San Jose State University and a BA in English and Theater Arts from the University of Oregon. Sarah holds a position as Secretary on the board of Santa Clara Players.
