Jenniffer Valora

Jenniffer Valora, EdD OL, has extensive experience in higher education with a focus on student success and retention. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Student Success at San Juan College since January 2007, Valora has previously held roles including Director of Retention and Director of the Volunteer Center & Co-Director of the Community Learning Center. Prior positions include Retention Coordinator & Student Success and Admissions Specialist at the University of the Southwest, as well as Academic Improvement Coordinator at Colorado State University. Valora’s early career includes adjunct instruction in mathematics at Pueblo Community College. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Education with a specialization in Organizational Leadership from Northcentral University, an MBA from the University of the Southwest, a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Colorado State University, and an Associate of Science in Geology & Mathematics from Pueblo Community College.
