Mark Medlicott currently serves as the Head of Development Investment at Sanctuary Group, a position held since 2016. Prior to this role, Mark was the Director of Finance at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors from 2012 to 2016 and held the title of Director at Link Property Solutions Limited, a property development and consultancy firm, from 2009 to 2015. Mark also worked as Group Financial Controller at Crosby Lend Lease between 2004 and 2008, and as an Internal Auditor at TDG from 2003 to 2004. Earlier in the career, Mark served in Corporate Finance & Business Services at Baker Tilly Chartered Accountants from 1998 to 2003. Mark Medlicott holds a BA (Hons) from the University of Birmingham and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

We are Sanctuary. We were set up more than 50 years ago and now provide housing and care in England and Scotland to more than a quarter of a million people, owning and managing around 120,000 units of accommodation. We exist to serve our customers and communities. Our mission is to build affordable homes and sustainable communities where people choose to live. We are a not-for-profit housing association, which means we don’t make profits for shareholders. Instead we invest all the income we make – every penny – into delivering on our social purpose. We play our part in tackling the national housing crisis by building good quality affordable homes all over the UK. We build to a wide variety of needs and styles, with the aim of creating or adding to a sustainable community. Our regeneration projects transform communities by listening to residents and putting their needs first.
