Tunde Balogun

Tunde Balogun is a highly experienced systems engineer specializing in the development and validation of medical technologies, with a robust background in both hardware and software systems. Currently serving as a Staff Systems Engineer at SandboxAQ since February 2025, Tunde previously held positions at THINK Surgical and Medtronic, where significant contributions included leading risk analyses for robotic surgical systems, developing reliability testing methodologies, and executing system-level verification protocols. Tunde's experience extends to Edwards Lifesciences, where expertise in regulatory compliance and Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) methods was applied to enhance product development. An early career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Florida and internships with Procter & Gamble further enriched Tunde's skills in innovative design and experimental analysis.
