Ray Smith is the Chairman and Founder of Sandboxx, an innovative social network aimed at providing intelligent lifestyle tools for the military community, including Active, Reserve, and Veteran service members, as well as their families. Smith co-authored the book "The March Up: Taking Baghdad with the 1st Marine Division," an eyewitness account of the 1st Marine Division's operations during the Iraq War. With a distinguished military career, Ray Smith served in the United States Marine Corps for over three decades, achieving the rank of Major General and commanding at all levels from platoon to division, including two tours in Vietnam. Smith holds a Master's degree in Military Operational Art and Science from the Naval War College, a Master's degree in International Relations from Salve Regina University, and a Bachelor's degree in Asian History from Oklahoma State University.
