Jim Darter has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Jim began their career at Churchman Corporation, where they held various leadership positions, including General Manager of the Holiday Inn and Hyatt Regency in Toronto. Jim then worked for InterContinental Hotels Group as a Regional Franchise Director, gaining valuable experience in the franchise and management company sectors. Jim later joined Sage Hospitality as the Senior Vice President of the Full Service Division of Hotels. Jim then served as the Chief Operating Officer of Gold Key | PHR before assuming their current position as President and CEO of Sandpiper Hospitality, where they oversee the management and expansion of 61 hotels across 14 states.
Jim Darter earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Jim attended the university from 1984 to 1988.
