Reetta Heiskanen

Reetta Heiskanen currently serves as the Head of Comms and Community at Sandwater since March 2025. Previously, Reetta held various positions at Maki.vc from January 2021 to January 2025, including Head of Platform & Marketing and Platform and Marketing Manager, where responsibilities included supporting founders, evaluating investment opportunities, and leading fund marketing efforts. Reetta has also contributed as a Board Observer for OGOship and K Line Europe GmbH and worked as an entrepreneur at R.E. Heiskanen in 2020, focusing on communications and writing projects. Earlier roles include Director of Communications and Head of Customer Success at Brella, Chief Marketing Officer at Mehackit, and journalist positions at Helsingin Sanomat and SLUSH. Reetta's academic credentials include a Master's degree in Political History and Economics from the University of Helsinki, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from the same institution.
