Angela Tombs

Angela Tombs has extensive experience in the field of education and community engagement, currently serving as Assistant Principal for Student Services and Director of Student Services at Sandwell College since December 2012. Angela's career began as Head of Creative Industries and Performing Arts, and responsibilities have expanded significantly over the years, focusing on enhancing the quality of further education and diversifying the curriculum for young people in Sandwell. Prior to this role, Angela worked as the Education and Community Engagement Manager at Wolverhampton Art Gallery and Heritage Service, promoting arts participation among local communities. Angela's background includes various lecturer positions in art and design across several institutions, alongside educational qualifications such as a Master's in Art and Design History and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from Birmingham City University, among others.
