Mark Knowles is an experienced information security professional currently serving as an Information Security Analyst at Sanitarium since February 2022. Prior to this role, Mark was a Senior Security Engineer at Red Hat from 2016 to 2019 and a Senior Security Architect at Hewlett-Packard from 2008 to 2016, where responsibilities included designing and managing a cluster of RHEL systems for log file collection from extensive endpoints. Earlier career experiences include a consultancy role at Envisure Pty Ltd, where Mark developed enterprise-grade desktop surveillance software, and a managerial position in information security at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, focusing on incident management, malware analysis, and forensics. Mark holds two Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science from Macquarie University, earned between 2000 and 2002.
