Taskeen Ismail

Taskeen Ismail currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Sanlam Investments, a position held since May 2024. Prior to this role, Taskeen held the title of Head of Corporate Finance at Old Mutual from May 2022 to May 2024, focusing on M&A transactions and strategic projects for the group. Earlier experience includes serving as Corporate Finance Manager at Santam from April 2008 to May 2013, where responsibilities included transaction-related work and various projects, as well as managing the Business Continuity Programme in the role of Risk Manager. Taskeen began career at PwC South Africa as an Audit Manager in March 2008 after completing articles in the Financial Services division. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting from the University of Cape Town and a Bachelor of Business Science in Finance and Accounting from the same institution.
