Todd Micklethwaite

Todd Micklethwaite serves as the Executive Head of Strategic Initiatives & Partnerships at Sanlam Investments since September 2014, where responsibilities include driving innovation and growth through strategic partnerships, particularly in alternative investments. Previously, Todd has held positions such as Head of Strategy & Impact and Head of Distribution for Alternatives, focusing on private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, and liquid alternatives. Earlier experience includes serving as an Investment Consultant at Aon Hewitt, managing client relationships for UK charities and pension schemes, and as an Actuarial Analyst at Alexander Forbes Financial Services Ltd. Todd holds a Bachelor of Business Science in Actuarial Science from the University of Cape Town and an Investment Management Certificate from CFA UK.
