Simon Vernon

Simon Vernon is an accomplished Principal Technical Architect at SANS Institute since September 2018, responsible for designing and maintaining various cyber security platforms aimed at enriching Cyber Security Education. In addition, Simon serves as the Head of Research and Development for Technology.Security and has held key positions including Chief Security Officer at Intelligence Hosting Services Limited and Cyber Security Consultant at e2e-assure ltd. With extensive experience as a Director at Pipernet Ltd and roles ranging from Systems Engineer to Field Systems Engineer, Simon has built a robust career in cyber security and engineering. Simon holds multiple GIAC certifications from SANS Cyber Academy and a BTEC in Engineering from Harrogate College.
