Tim Wirth

Tim Wirth currently serves as a Mapping/GIS Technician at the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, where responsibilities include assisting with computer mapping and GIS needs, along with developing and maintaining geographic databases. As the owner of WirthIT Consulting and Crowded Doghouse, Inc., Tim provides consulting services in information technology, business development, and data management to veterinarians. Previously, Tim held the role of Vice President, CFO, and CTO at Solvang Veterinary Hospital, managing all aspects of the veterinary hospital's operations before its sale in March 2022. Tim has extensive experience in training and project management in the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors, including positions at Cambridgesoft and Learning Tree International, and began a career as a GIS Analyst at Pacific Meridian Resources. Tim holds a B.S. and M.S. in Zoology from Michigan State University, and a certification in Biotechnology and Informatics from the Biotech Learning Institute.
