Soniya Patel

Soniya Patel serves as the Senior Assistant Provost for Finance and Administration at Santa Clara University since August 2017, where responsibilities include liaising with the Finance Office and Human Resources, coordinating the annual budget process, and conducting analyses to support financial planning and decision-making for the Provost Division. Prior to this role, Soniya worked as a Cost Accountant at Infinera, handling financial forecasting, cost analysis, and compliance, and as an Administrative Program Specialist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, providing grants management expertise for research projects. Soniya began her career as a Synergy Account Manager at Conservice, managing accounts payable and receivable. Soniya holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Utah State University.
