William Grant is an accomplished water polo coach with extensive experience in both club and collegiate environments. Currently serving as the Assistant Coach of Men's Water Polo at Santa Clara University since April 2022, William also holds the position of Pacific Zone Assistant Coach for the Cadet Team at USA Water Polo since October 2021. Prior to these roles, William was the Head Coach and Assistant Coach for Boy's Water Polo at St. Ignatius College Preparatory from August 2018 to April 2022 while simultaneously coaching as an Age-Group Coach at San Francisco Aquatics Foundation / Water Polo Club during the same period. William holds a Master's of Science degree in Biology with an emphasis in Marine Biology from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Santa Clara University. William's educational background also includes studies at Deerfield Academy and Malvern Preparatory School.
