Currently a member of the Board of Directors at Instituto Español de Analistas since June 2023, Javier has been an Investment Manager for Small Cap & ESG funds at Santander Asset Management since October 2013, overseeing portfolios such as Santander Small Caps España and Sostenible Acciones. Javier's previous roles include buy-side analyst positions at Interdin, Royal Bank of Scotland, Kepler Capital Markets, and ING, specializing in sectors such as Spanish banks, European contractors, and construction materials. Javier founded the online baby clothes company Kanijos in 2009 and began a career in equity research at Merrill Lynch. Javier holds a Licenciado in Business Administration from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
