Anna Strickland

Anna Strickland serves as an Economic Development & Local Government Specialist at Santee Cooper since January 2016, where responsibilities include facilitating partnerships with Horry County and local municipalities, engaging with South Carolina schools, supporting economic development efforts, and representing the Horry County Emergency Operations Center. Prior to this role, Anna worked as a History Teacher at Whiteville High School from July 2013 to January 2016, focusing on creating a positive learning environment, developing lesson plans, and collaborating with Exceptional Children teachers. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in History and Education from Campbell University and a Master of Arts in History from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
